At Maxwell Thaney, DDS, we want to help you receive the maximum insurance benefit for your dental care. We will work with most dental insurance, however we do not participate as a preferred provider.

About Dental Insurance
We will work with your dental insurance by submitting your dental insurance claims on your behalf. Most plans will pay our office directly. For those plans, we ask that you pay your portion (or co-payment) at the time of your appointment.

The following plans will not pay our office directly, however they will reimburse you first. As a result, we require payment in full at the time of service unless other arrangements can been made prior to your appointment.

Each dental insurance plan utilizes different percentages, deductibles and maximums that the plan will allow. Where dental insurance is involved, we can estimate for you in advance how much your insurance may cover and your portion of the treatment.

Financing Options
If budget concerns keep you from visiting the dentist, we offer payment plans and financing options through CareCredit and CitiHealth. Contact us today to learn more or to see if you qualify.

A word on dental insurance
Your dental insurance is designed to help reduce the cost of your dental care. It is a wonderful benefit to have for routine maintenance and traditional one-tooth-at-a-time dental care.

However, if you are seeking state-of-the-art dental care for improved appearance, comfort and longevity, your dental insurance plan will not usually cover all of your treatment options. For that reason, and to avoid being limited to the "usual and customary" care promoted by such plans, we do not participate as "preferred" providers. In addition, we make treatment recommendations based on your dental needs, not what the insurance may or may not cover.

You are important to us and so is your oral health. We will develop a treatment plan to work within your needs and budget.
