Emergency Dental Care
When you have a dental emergency, you need to be seen right away. And that's what strive to do. Give us a call, and we'll work you into our schedule. Our team of dental professionals are very experienced and very efficient, and we set up our schedule each day so as to be able to accommodate some unplanned emergency care. We recognize how important it can be for that person who is truly hurting to be seen right away.
After your emergency dentist appointment, we'll work with you to help you get into a pattern of regular preventive care, to help you avoid needing further emergency visits.
To make an appointment, please give us a call at 855-876-6100 for new patients, or you can request an appointment online, by clicking on our request an appointment page.
Common dental emergencies
Knocked out tooth: If you have knocked out an adult tooth, keep it moist at all times. If you can, try placing the tooth back in the socket without touching the root. If that's not possible, place it in milk or use a tooth preservation product that has the ADA Seal of Acceptance. Then, contact our office right away.
Cracked tooth: If you have cracked tooth, immediately rinse your mouth with warm water to clean the area. Put cold compresses on the face to keep any swelling down. Contact us as soon as possible.
Toothaches: If you have a toothache, rinse your mouth with warm water. Gently use dental floss to remove any food caught between your teeth. Contact us as soon as you can.
To help avoid dental emergencies, always wear protective equipment and a mouthguard when playing sports or participating in recreational activies. Never use your teeth to try and cut things. And always try to avoid chewing hard foods like popcorn kernels and hard, sticky candy.
